Law Banning Items From Rearview Mirrors

Even though the law banning things in your mirror has been around for a long time it's rarely enforced and is just an excuse for people to get pulled over.
"The bill doesn't specify what size items must be before they are considered too big, and gives officers discretion to pull over drivers." I think this is the best quote because it states that they have no specific size on what can and cannot be used. They said if it obstructs your view but what if what obstructs the view of one driver doesn't obstruct the view of the other, it is really a misunderstanding in the bill.
I think that the ban is unnecessary because how many people get in accidents from a little air freshener in their windshield. I understand if it is a huge thing there, but they should specify in the bill a specific size on what is considered too large. Then it will be acceptable.

Mitch Albom

Mitch's main point was that they had never asked this question before so why would they ask it now.  It is more of an ego factor rather then a race factor. Lebron James needs to have a reality check to realize that it is not all about him. I agree with what Albom says because I think that all pro athletes have a huge ego.  They may claim to not have one but they do. When he says that they had never asked this question before why would it be asked now is a good point. Especially since it had never been brought up before now.  There is no need for the race card to be thrown around when it comes to this subject.
